MATSICHS Playgroups

BiOC North and Moreton ATSICHS families can take part in playgroup at the Hub, 21 King Street, Caboolture. Sessions run from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm on Tuesdays during school terms, with morning tea and lunch provided. Families need to speak with their family support practitioner about joining the Early Learning Program before attending.

Caboolture Regional Art Gallery

Family-friendly activities, workshops and tours are offered through the year, providing opportunities to experience exhibitions and make art together. Entry is free, and the venue has accessible access, parking and toilets, as well as a baby-change facility. The gallery currently advises that it will close temporarily for exhibition installation from Monday 14 September to Friday 23 October 2026, so check its reopening and program information before visiting.

Micah Projects — Women and Girls’ Health Hub

Women can walk into this women-friendly hub for child and family health, pregnancy and early-years support, as well as help navigating health systems. Intercept Youth and Family Services

Young people aged 10–25 and their families can access support across Caboolture and the Moreton Bay region, including outreach at school, in the community or at home. Areas of assistance include family relationships, youth homelessness, disability and mental-health outreach, education and training. Reconnect offers free, confidential counselling, mediation and support for 12–18-year-olds at risk of homelessness. Young people may self-refer, although individual programs can have eligibility criteria.

headspace Caboolture

People aged 12–25 can seek help with mental health, work and study, alcohol and other drug concerns, and youth programs. A young person can make an appointment directly; a family member or carer may also book with the young person’s agreement. Initial support is available without a formal referral and at no cost. Leaps & Bounds Disability Services

This registered NDIS provider offers physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech pathology in clinic, home and community settings. Its approach is described as family-centred and goal-based, with clinicians who have early childhood intervention experience. UnitingCare — Specialist Child and Family Program

Children aged 3–18 experiencing complex trauma or emotional, social and behavioural concerns may receive free counselling or play-based therapy, with support also available for parents and carers. Sessions are provided at UnitingCare Caboolture, 344 King Street. Access is exclusively by referral from an eligible Department of Child Safety, Seniors and Disability Services centre, including Caboolture. Program enquiries can be made on (07) 5428 4200.

Centre Against Domestic Abuse (CADA) — Children, Young People and Families Program

CADA provides domestic and family violence support, advocacy and referrals. Its family program helps children and young people process their experiences and build safe relationships with parents and carers; CADA currently advises that this program has a waitlist. Counselling and case management are also offered to young people in the Moreton Bay region who are experiencing abuse in relationships.
